Octagonal Famille Rose lidded vase, China, 2nd half of the 20th century. Decorated with high, fittingly curved cartouches with various floral decorations on a colour-changing ground. The bottom is decorated by a lotus vine and the top by a sword pommel border. Corresponding lid with fo-hound pommel. A large, stamped, iron-red Jiaqing seal mark under the base, h. 48 cm.
