Imari bottom vase, Japan, 19th century (Meiji). Slightly shouldered form with indented neck and flared lip rim. Body divided into 4 large cartouches with ikebana arrangement and idealized nature cutouts. Decorated in iron red, underglaze blue and gold. On the rim iron-red flower tendrils, h. 63 cm.
