A FLAMBE / TRANSMUTATION GLAZED TWO-HANDLED BOTTLE VASE APOCRYPHAL MARK OF EMPEROR QIANLONG CHINA It rests on a tall spread foot with an unglazed rim and has a compressed globular body surmounted by a tubular neck applied with two ruyi-shaped handles. It is covered all over with a flambe / transmutation glaze with prominent red tones, lavender splashes and a mushroom tone for the handles and the rim. The base bears an impressed apocryphal six-character mark of Emperor Qianlong in zhuanshu / seal script.
