拍品形制周正。全器通以青花为饰，盘心以团寿字间以万字符为主题纹饰，寓意“万寿无疆”，周围加绘回纹，构图层次分明，青花发色沉稳。
拍品为安东尼·乔治·艾伦先生旧藏，艾伦先生自1983年开始热衷于收藏晚清瓷器，他借助自己作为东方古董进口商的身份，从光绪年间瓷器开始，对晚清瓷器进行了系统的收藏、整理与学术研究，并将其藏品出版于《晚清瓷器简介》一书。
