此碗圆口深腹，圈足，内书“大明嘉靖年制”楷书款，整体造型规矩，通身施雪花蓝釉。雪花蓝釉又称“洒蓝釉”或“青金蓝”，创烧于明代宣德时期，是在高温素烧的坯体上交替吹蓝釉、白釉数遍，晾干后再入窑经低温焙烧而成。烧成后的釉面上布满蓝白掺杂的斑点，谓“雪花蓝”。此釉色烧成极难，毁掉之器较成品为多。是官窑中的传统品种，至明晚期民窑才有少量制作，此碗发色精良，造型沉稳大气，是一件佳品。
