A group of assorted English cups and saucersincluding a large Minton breakfast cup with butterfly handle, pattern G559, printed registration mark dating to 7th April 1869, saucer 16.5cm diameter; a Coalport chocolate cup and saucer, pattern Y3050, printed import marks for Gilman Collamore & Co, New York, cup 10cm high; a Coalport twin-handled cup and saucer, decorated with raised gilding and green entwined laurels, pattern 6068/A, printed factory mark in green, saucer 14cm diameter; a coffee cup and saucer, possibly Brown-Westhead and Moore, circa 1860, decorated with grey sepia panels with claret and gilt borders, pattern number 5/66*(8?) (saucer repaired); a Crown Devon cup and saucer, with an elaborately moulded handle and nicely painted with pink roses and other flowers, circa 1900-1912, printed factory mark (repaired section to rim near handle); a Staffordshire trio of teacup, saucer and sideplate, with floret-moulding to the outer rims and painted with birds within broad cobalt, lemon yellow and gilt borders, pattern number 1143; a Coalport twin-handled cup and saucer, circa 1900-11, decorated with two painted bands of chained laurel leaves with slightly raised gilding, pattern number 6068/A in iron red, green printed marks and one further teacup and saucer, printed and over-painted in enamels with flowers (qty) Provenance: The Malcolm Sargeant Collection.
