提要：临证医案，始于宋代。然初期皆随作随弃，无有辑之者；或虽有医案之名，皆因治疗效验，笔诸于书，其文乃记事而非临证也。自清康雍间叶天士《临证指南》出，实乃临证医案之鼻祖，故海内风行。因托无锡文苑阁以活字排印，精整秀丽，天地阔大，活字排摆整齐，栏线清晰，印工亦属上乘，可谓晚清活字本中的精雅之作。且品相甚佳，原装原书签。
