A 19th century French silver bonbon dish or 'drageoir', Paris, 1813-1838, the urn-shaped body designed with four pierced panels depicting winged dragons and vases replete with flowers, two of the panels supporting scroll handles flanking lid with swan surmount, 28cm high, weighable weight approx. 21.7oz Please refer to department for condition reportThe bonbon dish is in good condition commensurate with age. However, there is some scratching and nicking noted to the silver. The glass liner is also in good condition with only one chip noted to the base. There are some small splits noted to the inner rim of the dish and some repairs noted to the pierced decoration and around the handles. Some minor dings and bruising to the lower silver section of the dish. Guaranty large objects (grosse Garantie) Paris ("Crs" to pierced foot and lid; Also Paris ("viellard" or "Michel-Angel") to lid and body. Glass appears old - hand blown, rings and bubbles visible. Overall a very attractive piece.
