笔筒紫檀制成，直筒形，色泽深沉，淡雅质朴，手感沉重。采用高浮雕透雕技法，于筒壁雕刻出松下人物图，图中一高士正怡然坐卧，身侧有劲松于石中挺立，生机盎然。作者刀法老练明快，意境空幽，雕琢细腻，刀法娴熟，用笔干练，费工颇多，不失为文房珍品。画面清秀雅致，韵味绵长。
