The vase is decorated to the neck and body in gilt with panels enclosing mountain landscapes and birds and flowers, the shoulder is decorated with four scholar's objects reserved on a trellis band, all reserved on a cracked ice pattern on a mottled blue ground. 48 cm high. There is wear to the gilding and some minor frits all consistent with age.
