白玉质地晶莹温润，立体多层次镂雕，一龙从牡丹花丛中窜出头来，逗趣生动。龙头尖长，丹凤眼，浓眉粗长，长唇翘鼻，张口吐舌露牙，鹿形角，龙发后飘分成七绺。环节颈，龙身藏于花丛中，枝叶交缠，隐约可见，四足腿部均有鱼鳞纹，肘处有短阴线的护腕纹，昔称“筋骨毕露”，前足握有似孔雀尾形的火焰珠，四爪前勾。牡丹花瓣内凹为元代特征之一。此炉顶制式、纹饰及雕工均具有典型的元代风格。
