观音面相清秀俊美，肉髻高隆，上有一化佛；眼眉细长，柳眼微睁，嘴角含笑，神情生动；璎珞华丽，手拿念珠，衣纹线条刻画流畅自然，立像下承台基。整体具有北方风格特征。此像躯体不似唐代般浑圆饱满，而是相对颀长而扁平，形体更纤细，注重一种亭亭立立的美感和力度。身着长裙，双腿笔直站立，双膝笔直收紧，在方形高台须弥座的衬托下显得伟岸而有气势，极为特殊。
