白玉质地，周身有黑沁，沁色深浅不一，自然包裹全器。圆雕一立兽，根据形体判断，应为玉虎。此器雕工古拙，不见深剜刀痕，线条圆润，形成不同的弧度与坡面。细节表现极为简洁，玉虎头部、四肢均简化处理，但仍隐约可见面部的五官刻画。玉虎底部有桯具钻痕，形成凹槽，另有对穿孔，具有明显的北方原始特征。此玉虎形体独特，具有奇特的想象空间和朦胧的美感，加之自然的黑沁，更显原始神秘之感。
