造像整体为合金铜铸造，胎体厚重，大师头戴宁玛巴莲花法冠，冠中央顶部饰金刚杵头，正中冠叶錾刻日月二轮，面部上冷金，双目圆睁，两眉毛高挑，下颚下有短密白须。身着袒右藏式僧袍，衣襟及僧袍衣缘均錾刻细密花纹，大师右手持说法印，举于胸前，左手持禅定印，全跏趺坐坐姿。衣边铺漫莲台之上，莲座上的莲瓣纹饰为这一时期常见的排列密集的瘦长型莲瓣，其环绕莲座一周。整像铜质包浆莹润，造型规整，工艺精细，展现出15世纪西藏雕塑大师的高超技艺。
