Ca. 100-300 AD A small and nicely detailed bronze figurine of a barefooted Serapis - a syncretic deity of Hellenistic Egypt, combining the features of some Egyptian and Greek gods. He is depicted in a standing posture, wearing a robe and modius crown. His bearded face is framed by a coiffure of curly hair. Both hands raised, elbows bent. Size: L:67.2mm / W:34.1mm ; 37.07g Provenance: Private UK collection; from an old London collection formed in the 1980s.
