Ca. 100-200 AD A bronze ring with a circular incised hoop and an applied irregular-shaped bezel decorated with an engraved lituus motif. The lituus was a curved wand or staff used by Roman augurs (seers) and priests during religious rites, suggesting this gorgeous item originally belonged to a priest.
