Ca. 1300-1500 AD Medieval Dagger of near perfect survival. The fittings are of brass and the hilt, (which has survived) is made of bone (or similar). The hilt is sculpted with tree bands running around it. The blade is long and thin. There is a makers mark ‘AKM’ on the cross guard. The pommel is thin and octagonal in shape. There is just a slight bit of discolouration on the upper end of the hilt and very tiny surface pitting. The condition is excellent. Size: L:281mm / W:69mm ; 180g Provenance: Ex. European collection formed between 2000 to 2020.
