Ca. 11th-13th Century AD Medieval utility knife blade. This blade is long, thin, triangular in shape and of a thin triangle in section. Such cutlers knives were popular through Roman to Tudor times. This blade is most likely early medieval, it would have had a simple bone or wooden handle. The surface is pitted but the condition is good.
