Ca. 1200-550 BC A finely modelled ancient Luristan cast bronze pin, featuring a needle-shaped body terminating in a griffin-shaped finial. The animal is modelled in a stylised manner with emphasised facial features, such as a head of an eagle, tongue protruding from mouth and talons as front feet.
