Ca. 600-700 AD An extremely fine Syro-Byzantine calcite alabaster bowl featuring thick rounded walls. The bowl is nicely decorated to the outside with two rows of concentric circle and dot motifs. The circular motif continues on the rim as a single row and down the sloping walls of the bowl in vertical bands. The base of the bowl remains flat.
