Ca. 2700-2000 BC A finely modelled Indus Valley polychrome bowl featuring a horizontal register depicting stylised fish in a swimming motion. The fish are painted in a thick black pigment with red and blue decoration depicting scales. The vessel features a flat rounded foot, from which its flaring body rises leading to a cylindrical rim.
