Four Early Bronze Medals and a Cap Badge, Italy, a 19th century oval gilt-bronze cap badge with relief of Laocoön, two sons, and serpents, lg. 2 1/2; and four 16th century bronze medals: two double-sided circular, one of Ercole d'Este Duke of Ferrara, dia. 3 1/2; another of Vincenzo Bovio attributed to Giovanni Antonio de Rossi, dia. 2 3/4; and two rectangular, one of Hercules and the Nemean lion, 2 1/4 x 2 7/8; and David and the Dead Goliath, attributed to Moderno, 2 1/8 x 2 3/4 in.
