德化窑白瓷塑像以工艺细腻、形象生动传神而著称，历来受世人珍爱。达摩面庞圆润，大耳垂轮，双目圆睁凝视前方。身着长袍，坦胸敛手，跣足踏浪而来。通体胎质坚致，釉色温润。达摩原为南天竺国香至王的王子，南北朝时入中国弘法，开创禅宗一派，是中国佛教禅宗的始祖。品相保存良好。
