Vase, of large rouleau form with a wide flaring rim and rolled lip, the body intricately decorated with four large chamfered reserves depicting many attendants and elders in interior and exterior court scenes, set between pairs of smaller vertical rectangular panels decorated with foliates and mythical creatures, the neck similarly decorated with c-scroll reserves above a shoulder with oval goldfish reserves, the whole set against detailed foliate, berry and squirrel grounds, with repeating geometric foliate wheel motifs to the rim and foot and three foliate sprays set to the rim interior, height 78cm and diameter 30.5cm (rim)
