The stem bowl with rounded sides raised on a splayed foot encircled by a raised section, the exterior moulded in relief with bands of archaistic motifs, the domed cover decorated with waves and surmounted by a double rope-twist handle, covered overall in a thick egg-yellow glaze, the inside of the foot incised with a six character mark, 26.5cm H.
