Architectural-figural scene on black, spotted marble plinth: A harlequin, seated on a semicircular wall, plays the guitar and looks longingly into the sky. The inkpot shaped as part of a column base, with lid. Hands and face of the harlequin carved from bone. Plinth on four small, round feet. W. 38cm, h. 14,5 cm, d. 24 cm
