dating: gxu (1875-1908) provenance: China, Of rectangular, archaic shape, with a characteristic ring-foot and circular mouth, with two elephant-shaped handles holding a ring; covered with a polished enamel of the dark, blue-violet color; each facet is well painted with an archaic bronze and its name: 'hanwang zhangzi jiaozun', 'mengjiang zun', 'zhou zisun you' and 'zhou wenwang ding'; stylized floral decorations at the base of the neck.
