Ernst Mollenhauer (1892-1963), German expressionist from East Prussia. With Corinth's support he studied in Königsberg with Richard Pfeiffer and continued his studies after World War I as a master student with Artur Degner. After a short stay in the USA he settled in Nidden until 1945, where Pechstein and Schmidt-Rottluff were also active.
