双鱼摆件以南红玛瑙俏色巧雕，两条跳跃的鳌龙互相缠绕奔腾向上。鳌龙龙首鱼身，大口朝天，双目圆睁，龙角后伸。脑后髪缕飘飘，连珠纹饰脊背，毛发两端丝丝可见。旁饰攀爬螭龙，底部装饰海水纹，有鱼跃化龙之意，是“龙鱼互变”的体现，《山海经•大荒西经》有“风道北来，天乃大水泉，蛇乃化为鱼。”的记载，可见其传说神话流传甚久。匠人将鳌龙跃出水面的瞬间深入刻画，将其昂首摆尾，腾空而起的姿态表现的极为到位。
