Napoleon III style clock; France, late 19th century. Gilt bronze and marble. Measurements: 37 x 27 x 12 cm. Clock made of bronze and marble with a structure of sinuous volumes. The piece is supported on four legs, three of them in the shape of an acanthus leaf, while the fourth one has a straight and sober finish, as it is located at the back of the piece. The legs fit into a mixtilinear marble base on which the gilded bronze body is supported. This area is richly ornamented with vegetal elements and, in the upper part, the round clock case, with Roman numerals in black and openwork hands. The upper part of the piece has a figurative finial in the form of a tail, inside which there is a still life made up of fruit and flowers, which also extend from the sides of the cup to the body of the piece in the form of a garland.
