Pendulum clock; Schatz, Germany, 20th century. Gilt metal. In need of restoration. Missing pieces. Measurements: 26 x 20 x 20 x 15 cm. Pendulum clock in a glass case that allows the entire mechanism to be seen. On the inside of the case you can see the pendulum and the clock face with gold coloured Roman numerals. The case is finished in metal to support the structure, and the translucent glass allows you to see inside. On the case is the signature of the Schatz brand, a watchmaking company founded around 1850. The factory was located in the Black Forest in Germany and had a long tradition of watchmaking linked to the region. They became famous for creating 400-day and 1000-day watches, as in the case of this watch.
