Profusely ornamented round-footed scale, from which a cylindrical shaft starts, in the upper part of which the indicator of the different weights can be seen, giving a glimpse of the system of springs inside, and which connects with the upper mechanism. It is topped by a flat, circular plate on which to place the load. On the lower part of the shaft, we can read R. W. Winfield, in allusion to Robert Walter Winfield, who founded a company that handled metal, creating several patents during its production.
