本品唇口，短直颈，溜肩，颈、肩处饰对称双耳，扁圆腹，下承平底，造型古拙。通体施透明釉，外壁以粉彩为饰，瓶身绘正面龙飞腾于五彩祥云之间，且两面龙纹施彩遥相呼应，一面为绿鳞紫脊，施彩奇丽。另外，龙首描绘最为精绝，龙角雄奇，额头突出，鼻阔口宽，气势雄伟。此瓶既可作为典雅的陈设瓷器，亦属上品花器，供插花之用，置于庭院案桌之上，插以春花二枝，逸致毕现。
