A Famille Rose Porcelain 'Butterfly' Jar and Cover
the baluster body painted with numerous flying butterflies picked out on a white ground, between a ruyi band to the mouth and a row of upright pendant leaves to the foot, the domed cover with a floriform rim decorated with further butterflies and surmounted by a gilt highlighted conical spiral finial, the underside bearing a Guangxu six-character underglaze blue mark.
