the first in the form of a basket with two mice sitting on the cover with a netsuke in the form of two entwined mice, the second with four cases, one side depicting two scholars in discourse and the other an eagle perched in a pine tree with a netsuke in the form of a guardian deity standing above a begging demon, the third with four cases carved in the shape of a tortoise with a netsuke in the shape of a toad clinging to the side of a basket.
