of rectangular form with canted corners, the front panel carved with a mountainous landscape showing a scholar drinking tea in a pavilion with his two attendants, two boys crossing a bridge underneath pine trees and two other boys in distance, opening to a large shelf between two small drawers and one large drawer, the sides carved with lotus scrolls, mounted with gilt bronze handles.
Height 10 3/4 x length 15 x width 7 1/2 inches.
