Toko Shinoda (Japanese, 1913-2021). Lithograph on paper titled "Spring", ca. 1980, depicting loose abstract Sumi-e brushstrokes. Pencil signed, titled, and numbered 25/30 along the lower left.Shinoda is best known for her abstract Sumi paintings and prints created by fusing traditional East Asian calligraphy techniques with Abstract Expressionism.
