Ca. 1-300 ADA pottery vessel in the form of a jug /flagon with a bulbous-shaped body, nicely tapering to a flat base. It features a short neck and a thick rim. A single handle arching from the neck to the shoulder. Vessels such as this one were designed for everyday use, in particular for carrying and serving water and wine at banquets.
