The slightly arched screen decorated on one side with Jurojin, attendant and crane, above a prunus branch reserve, within a surround with two dragons chasing a pearl above waves, ho-o birds inside the scrolled upright supports, the reverse with a Chinese style mountainous landscape with pavilions and waterfall, above a reserved bamboo panel, bordered by stylized lotus scrolls. Underside with applied U.S. Customs label, possibly for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition (St. Louis World's Fair) of 1904, numbered 867(?) and with additional label "H-121".
