Porcelain bowl for brushes, covered on the outside in red enamel "郎窑红" (langyaohong). The shade is soft and similar to the skin of a peach. A slight green hue can be seen along the rim and around the body there are more red splashes on top of lighter ones.The shape of the bowl (洗) is oval with a rounded edge that is slightly raised. The mouth of the container is very open and circular. The foot is also circular and supports the walls that curve outwards. The interior and the base are enameled in white with imperfections or bubbles.Height: 4cm; Diameter: 11cmProvenance: European private collection.
