A group of glass vessels Hellenistic-Roman periods and Later, including a damaged Hellenistic amber glass mammiform bowl, 12.5cm diam; a damaged and restored miniature bottle with white trail decoration around the glass body, 6cm high; a pale blue glass Roman pillar-moulded glass bowl, 12.5cm diam; a fragmentary Roman janus head bottle; a damaged Roman beaker with wheel-cut decoration, 9cm high, an old collection label on the underside of the base; a jug with tapering body and trefoil lip, 16.1cm high, some damage to the edge of the lip; a bottle with pear-shaped body,pinched-in at the base of the neck, 8.5cm high, a Roman glass unguentarium, 12cm high, rim missing, an old label ink inscribed ‘Cumia’; two miniature square-bodies vessels, 2.8cm and 3.7cm high; a shallow green dish, 6.4cm max diam; a child’s bracelet, 5cm diam and a glass fragment (13)Provenance:Property of a private collector, Edinburgh (1938-2021).
