台北人，2013年以《看見台灣》全新的高空視角，引領大家看見台灣的美麗與哀愁。除了拍出台灣之美，也透過影像暴露出台灣的盜採砂石的土石流問題、超抽地下水、興建公路而引發的山坡崩坍、海岸濕地與工業區的汙染，影片喚起台灣民眾對環境保護的關注，也促使政府成立國土保育小組，一一走訪勘查片中所揭露的16項環境問題。2017年，空中勘景途中，於花蓮縣豐濱鄉長虹橋附近山區墜機殉難，享年52歲。
