A group of three Chinese gouache paintings, 20th century, by Tyrus Wong (1910-2016), painted with a literatus, a fisherman or a farmer in a landscape, inscribed and signed , ink and colour on paper, 67.5 x 24cm (3) Born in China, but raised in America, Tyrus Wong worked for Disney for three years and created the artwork for the film `Bambi`, before moving to Warner Bros. He was a hugely talented illustrator, painter, calligrapher, storyboard artist and kite-maker. Condition Report Did not examine outside of the frames. Frames with chips and surface scratches, one loose.
