A pair of Chinese biscuit porcelain sancai sweetmeat dishes, Kangxi period, each of pentagonal form, painted to the centre with a horse in blue on a green turbine ground, the sides decorated with prunus and sea waves, 12cm long. (2)Provenance: Private UK collection. Purchased from John Sparks Limited in 1950, and thence by descent.
