通體裹覆赭斑，玉色不明。本件採圓雕技法，內掏膛以為容器，形體小巧。器壁較厚，作三足爐，形制與鬲鼎相近，器腹圓鼓且深，兩側有長方形附耳，口緣微微斂收有如帽沿，器頸琢飾一周夔紋，器腹則得見以凸起棱扉為鼻的正視的獸面紋樣，幾近滿工，腹下接陰刻雲紋的三圓柱狀矮足，形制樸拙。此爐形制與商的三足鬲鼎相仿，原為青銅祭器，自商代開始廣泛使用，到戰國後亦有陶、玉等材質，多屬陳設用器。而鼎至商周後，數量逐漸減少，取而代之的則為形制相近的爐。
