KAWASE HASUI (1883-1957) SHOWA ERA, 1930s/40s Three Japanese woodblock prints, the first entitled Chuzenji Utagahama (Chuzenji Lake, Utagahama); the second titled along the bottom margin Nara Kasuga taisha (Kasuga Shrine in Nara); the third depicting Miyajima no tsukiyo (Moon Night at Miyajima); all three signed Hasui with Kawase seal, and with the seal for the publisher Watanabe Shozaburo (1885-1962), all oban tate-e, all approx. 36.5cm x 24cm. (3) Provenance: from the private collection of a British artist, formed in the 1990s.
