KATO BUNREI (1706-82) EDO PERIOD, 18TH CENTURY A Japanese kakemono (hanging scroll painting), ink and colour on silk, depicting a pheasant pounced on by a hawk, signed and sealed, with a tomobako wood box inscribed in French `Bunrei, Faucon enlevant un faisan`, 81cm x 27cm.
