A GROUP OF FOUR CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE DISHES Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period Comprising two dishes painted to the centre and rim with stylised lotus blossoms issuing from undulating leafy stems, another dish painted to the interior with lotus flowers emerging from a murky pond, with butterflies hovering amongst large flowering chrysanthemums and peonies to the cavetto, the fourth dish decorated to the centre with a quatrefoil panel enclosing a boy dancing on a terrace, the cavetto with auspicious emblems and scholarly objects enclosed by border of cash symbols, 21.8 - 22.5cm diameter (4) Provenance: Private collection, UK; Three dishes formerly in the collection of Augustus the Strong, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland. 清康熙 青花盤一組四件 來源: 英國私人收藏; 三件為波蘭奧古斯特二世舊藏。
