A similar sancai -glazed figure of a Luohan was offered at Sotheby’s New York, The Hundred Antiques: Fine and Decorative Asian Art, 29 th September 2021, lot 1064. A slightly-smaller figure with a comparable pierced rockwork base, although decorated overall in a turquoise glaze, was offered at Sotheby’s New York, Important Americana: Silver, Chinese Export, and Prints, 22 nd January 2021, lot 482.
