Early 19th century scroll painting by Wang Liankui (Chinese, 18th/19th c), depicting a mountainous landscape after a painting by Fan Kuan (Chinese, ca. 960-ca. 1030). Ink on satin. With a 20th century Japanese mount.Huaxin; height: 65 1/4 in x width: 16 1/4 in. Scroll; height: 71 1/2 in x width: 18 1/2 in. 品相报告: The artwork is in generally good condition; there are no tears or losses, and the painting is bold and dark. When inspected under UV, there are no visible areas of restoration. The satin is toned. There are several scattered marks, most notably to the lower of the artwork. There are several signs of moisture exposure, most visible along the upper left corner. There is undulation and slight creasing throughout from having been rolled.
